These are some puzzles I put together with my girlfriend this past summer. When we weren't playing yahtzee or backgammon we were putting puzzles together. Thought you all would like to take a gander.

This print was entirely subtractive, etching three plates to a full value then scrapping and burnishing to reveal different hues and form. Time consuming, but a very physical technique. A lot of proofing as well.

I really needed to get some images on my blog, and these were the only ones I had on digital. These are the final prints using the color techniques we learned in Barga, Italy back in June-July of '05. This first one is strictly additive, choosing ten hues and replicating them in an image using three plates and the three primary colors. It is aquatint on zinc with little drypoint.

it helps to remember your username and password when creating a blog. i guess a level of intelligence about this box in front of me wouldn't hurt either. damn the technological revolution.
